Our school was formed with the local Instructor/ rider in mind. We saw a need for better pay and treatment of the instructors, assistants, helpers, independent riders and clients. The school was founded with the help of the local kids that only dreamed of kitesurfing, our dream is becoming a reality, much more to come. We are located on Praia de Macapa a small fishing town in Brazil, about to be discovered and about to blow up with kiters. Winds are mostly from October to January, all day long and stable. Water conditions are optimal do to its large area of calm shallow waters. We own several buildings and hotels in the area which is great for the overall experience of the Client or rider. Kiteaholics
At Kiteaholics we want to share our passion for kite surfing with you. Whether you want to dip your toe in the water with a beginner class or be able to ride and jump comfortably in all conditions with advanced lessons, we’ve got you covered. The only prerequisite is that you need to be able to swim and feel comfortable in the water. Buoyancy aids and helmets are provided as standard. We use the latest kites, harnesses and wetsuits by Cabrinha and Neil Pryde. All you need to get started are booties and gloves. We can provide advice on this, so get in touch if you have any questions. Our lessons are structured under the internationally-recognised International Kitesurfing Organisation (IKO) syllabus. Upon completing a course with Kiteaholics, you’ll be awarded an IKO membership card. We all learn at different rates, but having one-on-one or a maximum of two students to an instructor accelerates the learning process. We tailor every lesson according to the conditions to ensure you get the most out of your day with us. We teach all year round, so let’s get riding!

The WindSpirit Club was born in 2008 and through out these years, we continue to maintain our adventurous and delightful spirit in being able to teach these modalities: Kitesurf, Stand Up Paddle and Surf. We have at your disposal a modern Kitesurf , Stand Up Paddle (SUP) and Surf school, which combines safety with the responsibility of teaching. Here you can have fun and enjoy all this watersports. At WindSpirit Club, all the classes are made with certified coaches by FPVela, IKO (international kiteboarding organization), IOSUP (International Organization Stand Up Paddle) and the Portuguese Surf Federation. We are also holders of EMT permit nº124, issued by Turismo de Portugal, having all necessary civil liability and personal accident insurance. The teaching material at Windspirit Club, is suitable for the student and easy to learn, which allows you a fast and safety evolution. Kites, boards and paddles are available for all levels.

Kitesurf Life USA was created back in 2020 with the purpose of spread the love for the sport of the Gods! Our school is Based in Long Beach, Los Angeles, CA and open from March - October. We have afternoon thermal winds which makes your lessons comfortable and smooth. The ocean is calm and there is no waves at all. More about us: In 2015 our founder Bento Pires Jr., hosted the first kitesurf trip group from Long Beach, CA to his home country of Brazil. Since then, we have hosted many others Kitetrips. Kitesurf life LLC USA has a sister entity in Brazil called Kitesurf Life Brasil which is a kitesurf IKO Center, developed by Bento Pires Jr in 2020, and which is now operated by his business partner Romulo Duarte.
