Established in 2018, Earnse bay kitesurfing is owned and run by myself Chris Ainsbury a BKSA Senior Instructor with over 20 years of kite flying 15 years of Sup and 3 years of Wing foiling experience. I gained my school the AALA license to teach under 16 in kitesurfing and Sup lessons and this year 2024 we will be applying for Wing foiling instructer lessons. Earnse bay kitesurfing is located on Walney Island just on the southern tip of the lake district national park in Cumbria. The school which includes a Surf shack cafe and plenty of seating areas is based on a large free 200 vehicle parking carpark with a 400 sqm of grassed area in front to teach and sett up all equipment it also overlooks the main shallow sandy beach that runs for miles to the north of the island looking into the most scenic mountain ranges. The school currently offers land and water based kite sports lessons and wing foil lessons We also have a public Male and female toilets and showers facility 20 yards to the side of the school.
